Pai Gow Game Rules
Pai Gow Poker (Double Hand Poker) is a Americanized version of the Chinese domino (tile) game Pai Gow. Double Hand is played with playing cards, one 52 card deck plus a joker card, and uses the standard poker hand rankings.
The Deal: After the shuffle seven hands are created face down in front of the dealer. There are 7 betting positions, including the dealer, each hand whether or not there are seven players. Each position is assigned a number 1-7 starting with the player who is acting as the banker going clockwise around the table. The placement of each hand depends of a random number picked from 1-7. Hands dealt to empty positions are discarded with the remaining four cards in the deck.
The Object of the game is to create two poker hands from the seven cards that are dealt. One five card hand and a two card hand. Your five card hand must out rank your two card hand. Both hands are played against the dealer (or bank). If both of your hands beats the dealers, you win. If one wins and one loses, you push and if both lose then you lose your bet.
