Three Card Poker Game Rules
Tri Card Poker (Three Card Poker) - Three card poker is a poker game played with a 52 card deck. Each player is playing his or her three cards they were dealt against the dealers three cards using general poker hand rankings.
The Deal: Ante Bets are placed before the deal begins. Each player, including the dealer is dealt three cards face down. Each player then will have an option the play the three cards against the dealers three cards either by raising their ante bet they placed or by folding the hand.
The Objective: The objective to Three Card Poker is to have out ranked the dealer's hand by either having a higher poker hand or by the dealer not qualifying. The dealer must have at least a queen high to qualify to play. If the dealer does not have a qualifying hand, each player wins the amount of their ante bet and receives their raise bets back as a push.
Two Pair or Better Bets: Before the deal, a player may choose to place a side bet that his or her hand will be a pair or better. This bet is lost if the player does not have at least a pair. If the player has at least a pair their winnings depend upon the actual hand they have. For example a pair will pay 1:1 on the pair or better bet. A flush may pay 4:1, a straight may pay 6:1 and so forth.
